6952 Solar Power Transporter is a Classic Space set released in 1985. It contains a large ground vehicle, a small robot and three Classic Space astronauts (red, black and white).
One of the largest rover style sets in the 80s Classic Space series, Solar Power Transporter features four Space minifigures (black, red, yellow and white with 'jetpack'), a droid, the main vehicle with six giant wheels, two articulations, a central area presumably to control whatever operations are being performed with the rig, and two independently-detachable pilot vehicles with hatches (one at each end).
The articulated vehicle consists of a big center section with two identical cockpit sections attached to its rear and front respectively. The center section contains an open room with two monitors. In default configuration two detachable rocket drive modules are stored on its roof.
The different modules can be detached and recombined in many different ways. For example, the two "cockpits" can be put together to form a separate ground vehicle or each can be docked with one of the drive modules to form two small spacecraft (which requires the wheels to be taken off first). The center section has extendable supports so it does not fall over when the cockpits are removed, since it has only one axis.
A great set of the Classic Space era, an absolute essential addition for vintage LEGOLAND Classic Space enthusiasts, the set is sure to satisfy even the most demanding LEGO collectors.
The set for sale is 100% complete and it is in good condition. It comes along with the rare original box and instruction manual. As this set was part of the LEGO 1983 line, it is now quite hard to locate nice examples such as this one.

The correct Plates, Modified 1 x 1 with Clip Light are included which are the ones with the thin ring.
The correct Plates, Modified 1 x 1 with Clip Vertical - Type 1 are included which are the ones with the thin open O clip.
The rare Trans-Red antennas are all included and they are in great condition without cracks on the base.
The two Trans-Green Windscreen 6 x 4 x 2 Canopies are both included, in great condition. They are kept in separate zip log bags to avoid scratching during storage and shipping.
The four Light Gray Panels 4 x 4 x 6 Corner Convex Ribbed, are all included in excellent condition.
The two Light Gray Supports 2 x 4 x 5 Stanchion Inclined, 5mm Wide Posts are both included in excellent condition without cracks on the base.
The Split Axle holes of the Black Wheels are all in excellent condition without any signs of cracks.
The original instruction manual is in excellent, like new condition and it is kept in a protective zip log bag.
The original box is in good condition for its age. The inner plastic tray is not included. Please study the pictures that follow.
