This is the Leathered Pearls surf choker modeled on the style worn by Pierce Brosnan on the cover of Vanity Fair. We call it the 'Pierce My Heart.' 

Artist Kendra Delano hand-picks a baroque Tahitian pearl and strings it on an adjustable cord of soft dark brown leather, creating a simple necklace that is equally stunning worn by a man or woman.  Legend says that Tahitian pearls attach to their owner, bringing strength and courage.  That's why Hawaiian surfers traditionally wear them when going for the wave. Whether you're surfing a Hawaiian break or surfing the web, wearing these pearls brings power into your life. 

Like snowflakes, no Tahitian pearl is the same. As you can see in the photos, each of the natural Tahitian pearls used for these necklaces is a baroque semi-round pearl in hues that vary from grey to green to pinkish-purple.    If you have a particular color tint that you prefer, then send us a note and we will do our best to select one that matches.  If you want one of the exact pearls you see in the photos, these are available. Note that these pearls are all 9mm - so the smallest size of Tahitian pearl.  They are still gorgeous, but if you want something larger we recommend out teardrop pearls which come in 11mm and 12mm sizes.
