8-Port Remote Ethernet I/O Sensor Controller Switch - Web Control With Scheduler

8-Port Remote Ethernet I/O Sensor Controller Switch - Web Control With Scheduler 8-Port Remote Ethernet I/O Sensor Controller Switch - Web Control With Scheduler
This IP-based I/O device server unit provides comprehensive remote access and control of equipments with digital I/O, relays and sensors through any any IP network or internet.

This web server unit is designed for monitoring and protection of the high-value I/O assets. This task takes more than report of the current status data. It will also involve the protection and control of the physical field environment for the equipments deployed along with the ability to take preventive and corrective action when warning events happened.

With this remote I/O sensor and controller server integrated with the system as part of the setup, administrator can have an easy way of remote monitoring inputs, controlling relays and transporting GPIO info over the LAN/WAN. Easily check the current device status from this intelligent I/O server and control equipments remotely from internet using a web browser. This device helps users with capability of monitoring and managing applications such as environmental alarms, intrusion detection, relay contact closures and equipment failure. The opening and closing of integrated relay contacts or activation of digital output signals can be incorporated into any response of a critical event.

In addition, the remote management of the I/Os offers a remarkable cost saving in wirings and improves the versatility of the systems. No special software application needed to be installed on the client end or monitored site. No need to waste human time to send someone to the site for a physical check on the status. Save time and money by eliminating service calls and reducing downtime to a minimum. Application And Setup Diagram For 8-Port Remote Input/Output Sensor Controller Switch

This remote I/O sensor and controller web server contains 8 digital inputs, 8 digital relay outputs and 1RS232 console control port. Any changes detected in input status will be responded at the other end of the network through the eight relay outputs.

Web-Based I/O Device Monitoring and Control
This web I/O device management server is featured with proprietary Linux-like OS embedded with support of TCP/IP stack, web server and full SNMP functionality. Flexible use in any combination for input/output applications such as:

This device can be used to provide various external sensors' status for temperature, humidity, water leakage, airflow, security, AC power line voltage and many more.

It features an embedded web server, security code identification and hardware reset function, polar protection, and LED indicators for switch-working status. This system can also be integrated with various industrial field applications with ease through its RS-232 port.

Flexible Distance Extension For Input/Output InstallationMain Network Unit Of The 8-Port Remote Ethernet I/O Sensor Controller Web Server
This remote I/O sensor controller server unit includes 3 modules:

Unlike other models with all the input/output ports built together on the server unit, this device has individual stand alone modules for its network unit, inputs and outputs. The main network server unit of this kit interfaces with its input module and output module via the standard 15-pin D-sub cables, which are the same for computer VGA monitor cables. At any time the sensor input module and the controller output module can be deployed far apart from the main network unit simply by using longer 15-pin d-sub monitor cables, which are readily available and very cost efficient. This feature provides users with greater flexibility for installation and much easier expansion.

Stand Alone Sensor Input Module
The input module provides total 8 pairs of  inputs for sensors of different electrical equipments like smoke detector, temperature/humidity sensor, water sensor, security reed switch sensor, motion detector, density detector, infrared detector
or valve like high-temperature / high-pressure / gas / automatic control valve.

Intelligent I/O Control with Timer/Scheduler
Configurable timer/scheduler options allow you to schedule device powering off and on with programming. And these schedules can be reprogrammed at any stage (over the Internet or local Ethernet). You can now schedule time of day activities like reboot or shutdown every night.

Multiple Control Ways
This Ethernet I/O web sever supports HTTP commands and RS232 console link in addition to the intuitive web control. Users can control the operation of this remote web-based I/O server directly though using the HTTP commands.

The other option for communication with this device is through the RS232 serial port link with a PC using the HyperTerminal program. Administrator can also get DI status from RS232 serial port connection.
