Make sure to check out my other auctions after you look at this one. I'm listing another eclectic selection of technological antiques, and I suspect there will be something to interest just about everyone.

Here's a 1924 RCA Westinghouse Radiola III regenerative receiver, an icon of early radio.  The radio comes with 2 brass base, tipped WD-11 Radiotron display tubes (open filaments, no emissions), a working pair of Brandes Superior headphones, an original copy of the RCA Radiola III owner's manual, and original paper that accompanied the radio's dry cell batteries and vacuum tubes.

As you can see in the pictures, the radio is in nearly perfect original condition throughout.  Pristine original cabinet, pristine original cabinet finish, pristine original cabinet decal, pristine bakelite panel, pristine original panel lettering, pristine original hardware with no tarnish, no rust, no corrosion, pristine original wiring harness, no missing metal tags, no missing feet on the underside of the cabinet. The chassis components are like new, the wiring is straight and original, there isn't a spot of rust or corrosion anywhere.

The original Radiola transformer has an open secondary winding that will be need to be bridged if you wish to put the radio back into service.  You'll also need a regulated DC power supply, a set of good emissions WD-11 tubes, and a longwire outdoor antenna.

The owner's manual is complete and usable (and obviously great for display), but its condition is only fair; the front and back covers are detached from the manual's body, and the interior pages exhbit wear and browning.

That's about it.  I will pack it carefully and properly.  I've been shipping antique phonographs and wireless sets for years, and I know how to get fragile antiques to you safely. Auction participants with no prior feedback history should also contact me before placing a bid.  Buyer prepays and includes shipping.
