What is VESA? What VESA standard has my TV / monitor?
On the back of LCD TVs or computer monitors there are screw holes (4 or 6 pieces), containing a threaded socket into which a screw can be rotated to mount the TV or monitor to the mounting bracket. The spacing of these holes were mutually agreed among the suppliers / manufacturers. It's called: VESA standard.
The Vesa-degree determined by inspecting the horizontal and vertical distance between the screw holes measure (center to center.)
The used digits signify the individual distances of the screw holes in mm to one another.
