Handmade Celtic Knot Triscele Pewter Pendant #1

Spirals are second only to knotwork as the symbols most associated with Celtic art. Perhaps the true secret of Celtic spirals lies in their simplicity and beauty. They are universal symbols of the spiritual balance between inner and outer consciousness. Spirals are associated with the power of the Sun and harmony with the Earth. They assuredly have mystical powers.

The Triskele or Triskelion is a three-pronged spiral representing the Celtic Triple goddess of the 3 ages of womanhood; Maiden, Mother, Crone. Whatever the Triscele's meaning, it is interesting that the motif is based around the number 3 - a highly sacred number in many ancient cultures. The spiral of life is found on many ancient Irish stone carvings dating back to 2500 BC. Most scholars believe it represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Others say this deeply mystical symbol represents the male, female, and child, on the path of life. The triple spiral represents the eternal truth that the meaning of life is to find harmony between the three dimensions of our existence.

Made of high quality excelsior pewter. Double sided design.

Approx. pendant size: 3.4 centimetre in diameter. Weight : 10 grams.

Black cord option comes with an approx 36 inch or 91.44 cm cord and a (lead free) pewter accent bead with laminated ends. 

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead.Wear them with or without bead!

Items should be returned in their original and re-saleable conditions (no missing parts, no dents or scratches or odours). After we get your package, we would issue a full refund for your purchase, including original postage within 7 business days. You are responsible for return postage costs. We will not charge any restocking fees or other administration fees.
