Antique 19th century porcelain barrel form tea caddy decorated with floral sprigs and the arms of the Honorable East India Company. Motto below the two lion passant reads "Auspicio Regis et. Senatus Angliae" or "By command of the King and Parliament of England". Famille rose palette with iron red trim all enhanced by gilding.  I believe this is a Samson piece.  Measures 4 3/4" tall.  Good condition - the lid has two small rim chips.  Please view our other auctions.
