This lovely 3D Polystone fairy ornament is called Garnet. Created by Jessica Galbreth, it is one of the gemstone fairies in the Enchanted Art Collection from Add an Accent.

Fantasy artist Jessica Galbreth works out of her studio in Northwest Ohio where she paints images of the fairy realm. Jessica studied fine art at the University of Toledo, and after college, decided to pursue her dream of becoming a professional artist. Having long had a great interest in all things mystical and magical, it seemed only natural that Jessica dedicate her art career to the fantasy genre...specifically fairies. -- from package

The piece has lovely colors, nice detail and fine craftsmanship. Garnet has long, wavy brown hair. She wears a purple and orange dress with garnet-colored sleeves and knee-high boots. She has a gold necklace with a garnet pendant. Her transluscent wings are shades of purple with pink-red flecks. See the photos for more details.

The fairy is made of polystone and is handcrafted and handpainted. The overall piece is approximately 5" tall, 4" wide and 1 1/4" thick. A gold string is attached to the back for hanging. A gold metal hanger is also included for displaying the ornament in plants, arrangements or on a display stand that is sold separately.
