Pair of new steep angled riser pad for all types of skateboards...new skool, old skool, longboards, cruisers, slalom boards and even 70s/80s original boards.
These are drilled/slotted so they fit new and old skool truck hole patterns.
Made of soft urethane to help absorb vibes from rough roads...every little helps to smooth things out.
Use these to increase truck turning (or decrease it if used the "wrong" way round).
To increase the turning of your front truck you want the thin part of the riser to be pointing to the nose of the deck and likewise to increase rear steering the thin part should face the tail.
A popular set up for slalom (i.e. not going backwards) is to have 2 angled risers both pointing towards the nose. This makes the front turn sharper and the rear turn slower- the best for slalom as it makes your board turn more like a car so the rear end doesn't spin out everytime you crank into a corner.
Obviously you can use these in conjunction with "flat" risers to get the correct mix you wish- there are endless variations possible. Hardcore slalom racers and LDP riders sometimes have a couple of these steep angles stacked together under a truck to either get ultra fast turning or "zero" steering (for the rear truck). If you do that you'll need some seriously long truck bolts! (2" long Shortys ones in stock at the time of listing these)
You may need to get longer truck bolts- generally 1.5" bolts for 1/2" high risers (the higher end of the risers) depending on your deck and trucks.
We often use a mix of 1"/1.25" and 1.5" when setting up boards with angled risers.
