Late 1930s/early 1940s Wedding Dress
in white, semi-sheer silk

Features a peter pan closure, slightly puffed shoulders, long sleeves that taper at the cuffs, button down closure down the front of the fitted bodice (actually hidden snaps -- buttons are decorative), a basque waistline, and a long skirt with incredible drape and delicate pleating. The rear of the skirt features a moderately sized, attached train at center. Note the delicate stitching at the sleeve cuffs and at the darts at bodice. There are snaps along the left side for easy on and off.
Unlined and with no tags.

Condition: Very good with a few small issues: there is one tiny, light brown pencil dot sized stain at top of left shoulder and another similar one at rear towards the hem. If you spread the train out flat, there are also a few tiny markings, towards bottom. These get lost in the folds when worn. Finally, if you look purposefully under very direct light, you can make out very faint discoloration at the underarms. This is not visible when worn and all issues likely to disappear after a good dry clean or steam.
