Battery sleeve torn ?? No problem. Remove old sleeve and replace.

Although 18650 Batteries may differ slightly in length, you shouldn't need to trim any of the tube off. Place battery inside of PVC tube equi-distant at both ends. Use a hairdryer/ on hot setting  or small blowtorch and start by shrinking top or bottom end first. Keep moving the hairdryer/torch up and down battery length, then down to the open end. If your wrapping isn't transparent then label your battery wrap with a marker pen afterwards. This process doesn't take more than a minute or two.

Always bear in mind battery safety and don't damage or overheat the battery.
