Backlight kits are available on their own with a choice of 6 backlight colours - Blue, Green, White, Light Orange, Purple and Red or with a tapered neckstrap in a choice of 7 colours - Blue, Green, White, Orange, Purple, Red and Black. 

Soft polypropylene webbing for comfort, adjustable length - from 50cm/20" to 70cm/28" and easy to attach/remove from transmitter.

The neckstraps are made in Britain, using webbing manufactured locally and with a secure chrome trigger clip.

If you would like a different colour neckstrap, from the backlight colour you have selected, then please send us a note and we will send you the colours you want.

The Backlight kit contains everything you need to fit the backlight. All you need is a small and medium philips screwdriver, also a small flatblade screwdriver.

This Turnigy backlight is compatible with the Spektrum DX6i pcb power connector and takes its power from the on/off switch, so no soldering to the transmitter. It also has the correct resistor fitted for the 6 volt battery pack that is used with the Spektrum DX6i (the Turnigy battery pack is 12 volt) and the backlight produces the same level of brightness that it is designed to.

Backlight Specification: Voltage -  4.5v to 6.5v, Current draw - 10mA to 22mA.

Help choosing your backlight colour:

The best colour for contrast is the white backlight (the same as books and newspapers – which have black text on a white background),
Blue is the most popular colour and used in the Spektrum DX8,
Green is similar to Blue in contrast,
Red is good for night flying, as it does not affect your night vision as much as the others colours,
Light Orange and Purple as personal choices.

              
How to order different colours: If you choose the first colour, click the "Add to basket" button and then click the "Continue shopping" button, add your second colour and then click on the "Proceed to checkout" button. eBay will combine the order and only charge for one lot of postage.

If you require a tracking number, please select the signed for postage option.
