Everybody knows for a helmet to perform to its maximum potential it must be an optimum fit, so Fox have raided the 'design cupboard' for as many of the correct ingredients possible to create a helmet with a fit that's second to none. The V4 features 'MIPS' (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), engineered cheek pads which wrap under your jawline for an more secure fit, whilst the rest of the liner has been developed to ensure a more balanced, custom feel for a truly premium fit.
The V4 design features 4 unique shell and EPS sizes that have been scaled to ensure an optimum fit (XS-S, M, L, XL-XXL). Each of the anatomically correct dual density EPS liners are manufactured from impact absorbing foam that reacts positively to impact and widens the energy dispersal area - The result 'the most comfortable and precise fitting helmet on the planet'.
When it came to the actual construction only the most technically advanced materials would do, the outer shell is constructed from carbon-fibre to provide a high tensile strength, whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum. This combined with the dual-layer EPS liner ensures the V4 helmet forms a cutting edge, three-stage, impact-absorbing system engineered to provide total coverage.
For added rider comfort, the interior has been lined with 'High-Tech Dry Lex Fabric' to efficiently wick moisture away from the skin and provide a luxurious fit. On the track over-heating is not an option - to prevent this the V4 features four large intake vents on the brow of the helmet, purposefully designed to maximise airflow to the riders head and goggle ports. In total 15 intake and 8 exhaust ports circulate serious volumes of air throughout the helmet, perfect for helping keep things cool when the heat is on...
