It seems too glossy and plush to be muskrat, too fine textured to be nutria or beaver. Constructed from small pieces that combine to form a subtle yet stunning pattern that really shows off the the many shades and highlights of the fur. Don't know the age of this item but it is in great condition. Cozy, velour lined pockets. Soft, supple, and stylish. Very clean and odor free. Smoke free. Only minor signs of wear; faint scratches on the cuff buttons and a few irregularities in the fur pigment/texture. Tiny areas of loose stitching hidden by the fur. - see pictures.
