Vintage signed BSK Asian themed lantern, cherry blossom
pin/brooch earrings set, featuring rhinestones, faux pearls, and peach colored
enamel. This set is probably c. 1950s. The brooch measures about 2.25” x 1.5”,
and the bouquet earrings measure about 1” x 1”.
Vintage set in good, wearable condition. All of the stones
are currently present, but some have been replaced. I replaced several of the
rhinestones on the brooch, and one or two on the earrings with new Swarovski
crystals. I also replaced a missing faux pearl on the brooch with a real
cultured pearl that I happened to have, because it was about the correct size.
(The lowest one in the pictures.) One of the rhinestones on one of the earrings
is glued in point up, from a previous repair. The brooch is missing gold tone
in several places. Overall, the sets still looks quite good, but it is showing
its age.
STORE INFO:
Welcome to L’Or Aux Beaux Royales, and greetings from
lperkins, the store’s proprietor. To go to my store directly, go to loraux.com.
L’Or Aux Beaux Royales offers vintage and antique items and
collectibles, with a focus on costume and sterling jewelry.
Wearing vintage jewelry sets you apart from the crowd, helps
you cultivate your own personal style, and adds interest to your wardrobe.
Collecting vintage and antique jewelry is a rewarding and fascinating hobby.
My goal is to offer older jewelry, from the Victorian period
through the 1960s. I also offer later jewelry and collectibles. If you see
something you like, don’t hesitate too long. Because my items are vintage or
antique, in most cases, I only have one available. It is very rare for me to
have more than one of the same items in stock. Particularly when other buyers
are watching the item, if it’s something you want, act quickly.
All of my items are true vintage items, unless otherwise
noted. This means most of them have been pre-owned and pre-loved, but may have
wear and/or flaws. Please read the item description and the condition
description, and carefully examine all photos before bidding. I do my best to
describe items accurately and photograph them as well as I can.
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you ever have
any questions or concerns, please feel free to message me.
SHIPPING:
For auction items, I’m happy to combine shipping for
auctions ending within 7 days of each other, but please wait to pay until you
have won all of your items. Multiple small
items with a combined weight of up to 1 lb. can be shipped for the same low
flat rate as 1 small item. Shipments weighing more than 1 lb. will generally be
shipped by priority mail, at the current USPS rate.
Shipping should be combined automatically in most cases, but
you can also message me to request a combined invoice.
If you have already paid for an item, I cannot combine the
shipping for that item with later purchases. I always endeavor to ship items
within one business day of receiving payment, so in many cases, your first item
will already be shipped.
For Buy It Now items, I almost always offer free shipping,
which means the shipping is included in the price. My prices are very
competitive with similar fixed price items from other sellers, when price plus
shipping are considered.
Shipping for these “free shipping” items is still paid out
of my pocket (or out of the item’s price). I am an individual, not a large
company. I don’t get big volume shipping discounts. With shipping costs, eBay
and PayPal fees, and packaging costs, even the smallest “free shipping” item
that I sell costs me a minimum of about $4 out of pocket. Larger items
obviously cost more to ship. Please consider this, when making offers on these
items. Due to the out of pocket cost of shipping them, I never sell any of my “free
shipping” items for less than $5.
MAKE AN OFFER:
Most of my “Buy It Now” items have a “Make an Offer” button.
I do consider reasonable offers. When making an offer, please keep in mind that
I try to keep my prices low, so I don’t have a huge margin for additional
discounts. Offers for 50% off the original asking price are usually not
reasonable. Similarly, offers which do not take into account that a realistic
shipping cost will be paid out of the item’s price, are also not reasonable.
Buyers should compare my prices on “Buy It Now” items to the price plus
shipping of similar items.
EBay limits buyers to 3 offers per item, so make a
reasonable offer that is likely to be accepted.
Shipping multiple items together saves on shipping costs,
and I can often pass these savings on to you. For that reason, I frequently
offer discounts for multiple purchases, when customers use the “Add to Cart”
button and pay for all items at the same time. These deals can be as good or
better than the price you could get through “Make an Offer,” particularly if I
am also running a sale at the same time.
FEEDBACK:
Once you have received your item, and are happy with it,
please leave positive feedback. If you ever have an issue, please contact me
through eBay messages first, so that I may work with you to resolve it.
