This is a unique style of bag created by my husband and myself for carrying multiple Native America flutes with ease. We know that Native American flute players can never have just one -- so what do you do when you need to carry multiple flutes to the festival or performance? Bulkier bags can get heavy when you need three, four, or more flutes at once. Yet each flute is an investment, a work of art. What to do?
The "flute roll-up" bag provides a solution. Each bag is soft fleece to protect your flutes from scratching, and each will hold multiple flutes. Each flute slides down into one of the pockets, and when you flip the flap over the top, each flute is individually wrapped in fleece. Then you roll it up into a secure bundle and keep it secure with the outdoor-back-pack-grade plastic buckles. Carry the bundle over your shoulder with the adjustable shoulder strap, or carry it by hand by the handle that runs between the bundling straps.
The bags are MACHINE WASHABLE! (Wash in cold cycle to preserve the colors, light heat or no heat in the dryer or hang-dry for best washing results)
Because of the way the flap top folds over the tops of the flutes, a flute a little longer than the depth of the pocket will still be enveloped in fleece and can still be carried in the bag.
