This SEVERIN Filter Coffee Maker has a unique design in brushed stainless steel black. It prepares coffee as if brewed by hand using the Vapotronic brewing system.The water is heated in the water container situated over the filter holder. Just before the boiling point is reached, the heating element of the water container is switched off and a valve opens allowing the water to run from the container through the coffee grounds in the filter holder directly into the glass jug. The result is a delicious, perfectly hot coffee. The hotplate of the machine has a separate heating element to keep coffee hot in case you do not serve it immediately.The hotplate is equipped with an auto switch off .Made in Germany this Severin product is guaranteed with a 2 year warranty.
