The neck is built for stability with graphite rods running the length of the neck and an easy to adjust spoke wheel for the truss rod. The San Dimas takes advantage of Charvel's Speed Neck shape and compound radius rosewood fretboard that compliments riffing and chordal passages while allowing blistering speed and comfort in the higher registers. The rolled edges of the frets and fingerboard make this guitar very hard to put down for any amount of time.

In the electronics department there were no holds barred in the design of this guitar. A Seymour Duncan JB/59 set crank out the tone and a push pull pot in conjunction with a Switchcraft 3-way blade allow for 6 different pickup configurations. Keeping your strings in line is a Floyd Rose double locking bridge with Charvel tuners. This floating system allows you use and abuse the whammy bar while always returning to correct pitch.
