Created in the 1800's in China, this blue & white covered serving dish with a willow motif is a great example of  Canton-style export porcelain. No markings.

Specifications: The large platter 19 1/4" by 16 1/8" piece. Hand painted for early export. There are firing imperfections like glaze burst bubbles and iron. Does have a signature mark on back. Please view photos. I will think about sending this international but I will have to see what shipping would be. If international bidders want to pay 100 dollars for shipping then I'll pay the overage. And if it ends up being less then $100 I'll reimburse minus shipping cost.

Condition: Great condition for 150+ years old! There are no chips or cracks. The cobalt blue is vibrant. This is a collector's piece. Please see our photos to and ask questions before bidding the condition of the item(s) is good considering the age.

It should be noted that all Canton porcelain has minor imperfections that occur during the shaping process, the hand painting and especially during the glazing & firing of the final product.  These imperfections, for example, are gaps in the glaze, firing cracks, off color pieces, bubbles & pin holes in the glaze, black specs, etc. from the iron.  These are 150 plus years old.  I have more that will be coming.

Anything with age will show signs of chips, cracks or crazing. You can have blemishes in factory and after.

Please be aware that closeups exaggerate & amplify imperfections. But that is the point. I do except returns with in 14 days of purchase. And will refund when money has cleared PayPal.  If you have any questions please ask before bidding and view pictures.
