| Tang horses are a stylized form of pottery horse common in China during the Tang Dynasty. They are marked by wide bodies, broad necks, manicured manes, naturalistic poses, and remarkably expressive facial characteristics, and are most commonly found in tombs. This reproduction Tang horse stands 9 inches tall, and is 10 inches long, mane to tail. Made of cold cast resin, it is hand painted to give it the look of terracotta, and shows wonderful detail.
