DESCRIPTION

The fascination of the daily occurrences of those bygone days that took place in the Old Wild West and China's Back Alleys are harbored within this lamp.

  Lamps such as this were used to illuminate the dim shadows of the Chinese and American Opium Dens, Gambling Parlors and Bordellos, often times the only lighting in these establishments.

CONDITION

This Post 1940's, Opium Den Lamp is in great condition. The lamp is made of Silver Plated Brass with Pressed and Rolled Out Openwork that holds the glass globe. It has 4 Panels with Poppy Pod Designs on each that encircle the main body. The oil holder does not leak.

This Beautiful Affordable Lamp stands approx. 5" tall and is about 2 3/4" in diameter at the base. We have an image of this lamp next to a cola can as well as an image of the lamp held in an adult male's hand to help give you a better idea of its actual size.
