Up for sale is an excellent classic multi-effect pedal by Ibanez....the PT-3 Power trio !

Just like it says, it is a power trio of 3 excellent and very essential effects: Overdrive/Distortion, Delay and Chorus !

That's right, the drive section actually has two modes....so you can go from warm and harmonic overdrive to more searing and sustain laden distortion with the flick of a switch ! I believe the overdrive side is like some sort of Ibanez tube screamer....both from my research and using my ears! The distortion side sounds like a higher gain version of a tube screamer...which is a good thing! Because even though you have more dirt, chords don't get too muddy and you can still hear some terrific definition in your single notes as well as when they ring out in chords!

The delay makes your clean channel sound beautiful.  It makes the on-board overdrive and distortion sound simply glorious!!!!! I hear Eric Johnson solo sounds...without the need an overdriven Marshall and Chandler tube driver in front of it ! In addition to the delay time, repeat and delay level controls, you've got a 3 stage delay range...going from 16-64 ms to 64-256 ms to 256-1024 ms....a full second of delay can be had with this unit ! So you can go all the way from short reverb-y slapback all the way to more ambient and droning soundscapes !

Finally, no 80's multi-effect pedal is complete without chorus ! And with a wide range of width and depth control, you can go from very subtle modulation all the way to swampy, soupy, swirling rotovibe type of chorus !

I noticed that the pedals on this unit can be a little squirrel-y sometimes.....having to step on them twice to engage or disengage an effect, or bypass the board completely. I'm guessing it's just because of the age the unit and it just needs to be stomped some more and used. I've been bringing the board to church practices and Sunday mornings just so I can work out some of the dust that has probably accumulated between the pedals, the footswitch and the electronics of the unit. No 4 hour bar gigs, so use is light, but so that the pedal is being used gently.

I also have a brand new Electro Harmonix power supply on order and it will be included in this listing for the lucky buyer. So hopefully, I will have it by the time someone buys and pays for this pedal board.

All in all, this is a very coveted and very versatile unit that gives you all you need sonic-ly in one independent unit!
