Harris Tweed Sport Coat Jacket .  Harris Tweed is only woven in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland!  This is very special wool.  Over the summer, my husband and I traveled here to see the weavers in action and visit the Harris Tweed Authority to learn more about this unique tweed.  Yes!  We love this wool so much we made the trip to discover more about it!  Only weavers who have been approved by the Harris Tweed Authority get to use the official label.  In fact each label can be traced back to each individual weaver.  Having one of these pieces is having a real connection to the artisan who wove the fabric.  Although the fabric can then be tailored by anyone, anywhere it is not consider authentic Harris Tweed unless it came from the Outer Hebrides, was approved by the Harris Tweed Authority and issued a serial number!  We never pass up a Harris Tweed product if it's in our size.  Don't miss out on this beautiful one of a kind piece!
