The chest has 10 slots for stacked flatware in the lower section, and holds 12 knives inside the lid.

It has a purple tarnish-free lining, and is in overall good used condition, solid with good working hinges, and cosmetic flaws / scratches to the exterior, sturdy and nice.

It measures 17 inches wide, by 11-1/2 inches deep, by 3-3/4 inches high.
