KIT: Pair of 5" gauge "SE 500" bogies - Self Assembly

NB price is for a pair of bogies (ie 8 wheels 4 axles total!)

Supplied with all parts to build into two 5" gauge wagon bogies:

Kit consists of:

• Sturdy 8mm laser cut frames and cross members
• Sealed ball race bearings
• Axle box covers
• Springs
• CNC machined EN8 Steel Wheels with axles
• GL5 Wheel tread profile - 0.5930" thick for more reliable running
• Nylon riser/bearing block
• All nuts and bolts required to assemble.

Tools needed: 7mm spanner or socket wrench, 3mm and 4mm allen keys, file to ease corners of sliding faces*

* Note re fit of cross members in frames: When laser cutting 8mm thick steel a small radius is left in internal corners, which will need to be removed with a file to allow a good sliding fit of the cross members in the side frames.
