This is a standard geometry 56 CM IF Planet Cross Complete Bike. It was custom powder coated. It rides like a dream. It was used as commuter and low-mileage touring bike by a professional bike shop owner and mechanic since it was new in 2004.
This frame is filled with incredible details and to provide the highest quality you can imagine, born in Massachusetts, USA. 3 types of steel were used in its production to create its signature durability and ride quality. It has some scratches in custom powder coating, but is in great shape and has always been meticulously loved. Alas, it is time for her to find a new home.
Aside from being an awesome all-around bicycle, here are 2 disclosures:
1) There is a very small flat spot in rear rim that I have ridden unnoticed (with higher volume tires) for many years. Too insignificant to photograph.
2) There is a very small dent in the chainstay under the chainring. I removed the crank, inspected, and primed it before creating this listing. See the last photograph. The Nivachrome chainstays are harder than the steel chains are made of.
- Frame = USA Handbuilt 56 CM Planet X, 1-1/8" x 150mm Headtube, rear rack mounts, 135mm rear axle spacing for strength. Will fit 48C tires, great clearance!
Geometry: 56 CM TopTube (C-to-Top) and 55.5 CM SeatTube (C-to-C) . 428 MM Chainstays (C to C). - Fork = USA Handbuilt IF Planet X, Cyclo-Cross / Touring Fork - 1-1/8" x 260mm Steerer - Cut long, a few scratches, but in great shape!

- Handlebar = Ritchey Pro BioMax Drop Bar 42 Cm (C-to-C)
- Wrap = Brand New Double Wrapped Synthetic Cork, so comfortable
- Stem = Scott Elite 110mm x 7 degree rise, 26.0mm clamp
- Shifter / Brake Levers = Shimano Dura Ace 2x9 speed, never crashed, super crisp!
- Computer = Integrated Flight Deck works perfectly!
- Hubs = Shimano XT (HBM750) - Great Condition
- Rims = Mavic 32 spoke Open Pro Ceramic - front is perfect, rear has very small flat spot you can feel if running narrow (23C) tires at high pressure.

- Tires = Brand New, never-ridden Continental Ultra Sport 28C's
- Crank = Ritchey WCS Cold Forged 172.5 - a few scratches, perfect working order, light and stiff!
