From
Rackham's now sadly discontinued Confrontation line, the Red Lioness is
a mighty heroine and leader of the Lions of Alahan; clad in ornate
armour and wielding a mighty magic blade, she sits astride her noble
charger, or dismounts to battle the forces of darkness in single combat!
Included,
new in box, is the 2nd incarnation of The Red Lioness, both mounted and
on foot. The set comes with tokens, English cards, and a booklet which
has fiction and some basic rules for playing Confrontation. Below is the
official painted image for The Red Lioness:

I
doubt the approximate real size of the above image is accurate, for
reference. As well as being a very striking figure and a notable hero
for the Lions of Alahan, The Red Lioness is a very versatile miniature.
as well as working well for Basileans and other goodly themed armies in
various games, the ornate nature of her armour and general aesthetic,
when combined with the rather sinister looking sword, makes her a good
candidate for Dark Elf Dreadlord or Sorceress, Vampire Countess, or even
Chaos Lord. Her lack of armour in certain places might certainly work
in a Slaanesh force. She might also work nicely as a Dogs of War
mercenary general, something similar to the Tzarina of Kislev.
Just as an aside, her magic sword bears a striking resemblance to Warcraft's Frostmourne, the Lich King's sword.
Regardless,
this masterfully sculpted miniature is sure to be a joy and a challenge
to paint, but the results will be worthy of any display cabinet.
Now out of production for years, here's your chance to add this rare miniature to your collection.
