This is a wireless GSM remote control switch that connects to 4G GSM cell phone networks. It can be used to turn other electrical devices on or off through phone calls or SMS messages. This allows you to remotely control devices such as gate openers, garage doors, water pumps, aircraft pre-heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, and more from anywhere in the world.
This device does not come with a SIM card. Please contact your local cell provider and purchase a standard 3G/4G SIM card, and activate it on a pay as you go plan.
This device has 2 independent relay switches. The first relay switch is activated by calling the SIM chips cell phone number. It will then reject the call without answering and trigger the first relay (which will turn on whatever device you've got hooked up). There are no call costs incurred when dialing the unit; it will recognize an authorized telephone number calling it and reject the call without answering. This relay has two modes. It can either be turned on by a call for a specific amount of time, or it can be set to turn on or off when a call is received.
The other independent relay(s) switch can be switched on or off by sending the GSM device an SMS text message. Both relays can be controlled via a single SMS if required. All relays can be controlled via a single SMS if required, and all relays can be turned on for a set amount of time via an SMS.

I personally use two of these devices. I've soldered contacts onto the remote key fob for my remote car starter and have attached these wires to the switch on the GSM device. When I call the GSM devices SIM card, the switch is activated and it connects the two contacts on the key fob to start my vehicle. This triggers my remote car starter and starts the car, all from a quick call from my cell phone. The device can be conveniently mounted under the dash!
