The Golden Dynasty was one of Pelikan's first limited edition pens. Released in 1996 in an edition of 888 pieces. This pen pays tribute to the dragon, one of the most complex and manifold symbols in Chinese mythology. The barrel band is sterling silver overlaid with 24 karat gold. The engraved design depicts two dragons playing with a ball in the heavens, which, according to myth, would cause rain to fall. Fine 18K two-tone gold nib. Outer box, wooden display box, booklets. ;
