16-1/2" VIOLA ----- George Herrmann made in 1991 in Markneiukirchin, Germany.  Copy of Antonius Stradivarius, Cremona.  27-1/2" long, the back measures 16-1/2", the upper bout is 7-7/8" and the lower bout is 9-3/4".  These professional grade violas were imported by Glaesel. The original list price was $1795.00 so this viola is no slouch.  It has a very nice deep tone and good projection, has an excellent action and plays very well.  The bridge is an Aubert.  There are a couple minor nicks, there are no cracks or separations (please see photos), the peg box is excellent and the pegs turn smoothly and hold well.  Dominant strings, ready to play.  I am including a BRAND NEW CARBON FIBER VIOLA BOW and an hard shell case.  The case is in good condition, the latches all work, see photos. It also has two storage compartments inside.  This instrument was liquidated from a failing music store and is priced to sell fast.
