What is a Hackintosh?
It is a computer built to run the Apple OSX operating system on conventional PC parts.
What are the benefits?
The main benefit is the price difference when compared to a similar spec Mac but as well as this you have the ability to upgrade individual parts. With Macs you are usually stuck with the spec it comes with.
It is possible to have a Hackintosh that performs better than the highest spec Mac Pro because of the fact that PC parts are updated quicker than apple tend to update their product lines
A well built Hackintosh is as reliable as a genuine Mac
and provides the same functionality.
Hackintosh are ideal for people who love the Mac operating System or use software that are for OSX only (like Logic, Final Cut,etc) but do not want to pay the ridiculous price tag of a Mac

*Please note the systems are built to order. Even though most builds are completed and dispached within a week please allow up to 14 days for delivery as there may be delays while waiting for parts to arrive.
* You will be given regular updates on the build. You will be advised when all the parts have arrived, when the hardware has been assembled, When the software has been installed, when testing is complete and also if there are any delays.

Warranty:
Please note that this warranty does not cover the product where fault is due to misuse or use in contravention of the instructions, or where the product has been subject to unauthorised modifications or commercial use. This includes hardware replacements, tampering or work attempted/carried out by any engineer or unqualified person not authorised by us. Overlocking or accelerating processors, changing thermal dissipative compound components or apparatus will void warranty. In the event of a fault with an item within the warranty period, we will repair the item. Items will be re-fitted/repaired to a high standard and to the exact or closest possible specification as purchased. In the unlikely event that repair is not possible, customers will be offered a replacement. Replacements will be of equal or greater specification and value but make/model of replacements are stock dependent. To request repairs/replacement under warranty please contact us through eBay messaging allowing 48 hours for reply. When returning an item under warranty the customer is only responsible for the fees and of postage to our shop. Any damage to the item must be mentioned before returning the item for repair. Damage caused during shipping may void your warranty. Where replacement parts must be ordered, repair and return of an item may take up to but no longer than 14 working days starting from the date of delivery to us. Failure to follow these guidelines may void your warranty. Any hardware failure, the cause of which being fluid damage, is not covered by this warranty. If any part of your system is exposed to moisture please remove all sources of power immediately, do not attempt to power your system and contact us for assistance and we'll do our best to help.
