Information about Purchases of Pre-Owned WATER SPORTS & SCUBA Equipment


Many of our pre-owned items are sold with our 30 Day In-House General Warranty Program. This means you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the item for Warranty Service. See more information below in the Warranty Section.


SCUBA: We check and test each piece of equipment before it leaves our facility. It is known to be functioning as designed when it leaves our facility. In rare circumstances an item may be mishandled during shipping (a box may be dropped etc…) which may cause an item to malfunction upon arrival. For this reason, we advise you or the end user to have all life support equipment (BCD’s, Regulators, Octo’s, Dive Computers, Gauges and Air Tanks, etc.) inspected by a qualified brand technician prior to use. In some cases we may have serviced or have had items serviced by a qualified brand technician prior to sale but in most cases the items are simply tested, their condition verified, and they are sold AS  IS.  We clearly state the known condition of each item sold as either TESTED and FUNCTIONAL or SERVICED. Even if we say the item has been “serviced,” it should be inspected by a qualified brand technician on the buyers end prior to use because of the possibility of mishandling by the shipment carrier. We will not be held responsible for mishandling by the shipper. Your item is insured through the shipper. Because we buy, sell and trade pre-owned equipment for resale, we do not always know the last date of service. If the equipment was sold to us with any records of service, we will pass those records on to you.

SHIPPING: Winning Bidder pays all shipping charges. We ship only to CONFIRMED PayPal addresses via FED EX Ground / Home Delivery or USPS with a signature required at time of delivery. If you provide us with a PO Box as your confirmed address we will ship via USPS with a Signature required at time of pick up at Post Office. All Fed Ex shipments require a signature at time of delivery. We ship all items using the Ebay Shipping Calculator. This provides a rate based on shipping to your zip code from our zip code 21220. The price is further based on the item/s weight and size of box. We may add a handling or boxing fee on some items to cover the cost of special boxes and/or packing supplies. This occurs if your item requires a special box size. We will pass the cost of the box on to you. It will be masked as part of the shipping charge. Most special boxes cost between $3 - $7. We will combine shipping where it is possible for all items bought and paid for on the same day by 8pm EST.


International Shipments: The Winning Bidder is responsible for any/all import duties and fees levied by both their home country and the shipment carrier. It is a violation of United States law to make untruthful statements about what is contained in an international shipment and/or how it is being obtained. Do not ask us to make untruthful statements to save you fees. We do not and will not violate US law. In addition, some items may be illegal to ship to your home country. It is the buyers responsibility to know the laws before bidding on our items. Please do not purchase items without knowing your countries import laws and/or fees. You the purchaser are solely responsible for any violation which occurs or any fees applied. By bidding on our items, you agree to reimburse KB Diver Services for any duties, fees and fines which we may incur by shipping the item to you.



OUR AUCTION RULES: We reserve the right to delete / reject ANY and/or ALL Bids at any time up to and including after an auction has ended. We reserve the right to reject bids from bidders with 0, recent negative feedback or those who do not have any recent feedback (within the past 90 days.) New Ebay members are welcome to bid but should contact us in advance of bidding. Those with zero feedback may have their bids deleted and future bids blocked if we are not contacted prior to placing a bid. We also reserve the right to cancel any transaction at any time, before during or after an auction has ended as our items are also for sale locally. There may be a time when an item has sold locally before we have had an opportunity to remove it from Ebay. We apologize for the inconvenience if this should occur. Please contact us before leaving negative feedback. We cannot help you unless we know there is a problem.


DISCLAIMER – Much of the equipment we sell requires specialized training. By bidding on and winning this item you certify you are trained in its use (if applicable) and accept all responsibility for said use. By purchasing any of our items you also agree to have the items checked by your local certified repair technician prior to use. While all of our items leave here fully functional, items may be affected during the shipping process.



SHIPPING - All items are shipped within 2 business days of receiving payment unless otherwise stated in the listing. Payments must be received within 2 days of purchase in order to qualify for our 7 day return and 30 day warranty programs. Not all items qualify. Please inquire prior to bidding to see if your item is covered.


OUR RETURN POLICY - This is an AUCTION or FIXED PRICE SALE. All of our items come with a 7 day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your item, you may return it to us within 7 days of the purchase date. After 7 days and up to 30 days, we will accept items under our in-house warranty program for repair or replacement at our discretion (see below.) No refunds will be given more than 7 days after purchase.

The Ultimate Pre-Owned Gear Purchase Protection


YES, we warranty the pre-owned gear we sell for up to 30 days after the date of purchase.


Our warranty provides you with a protection you don’t usually find when buying pre-owned items. We are so confident in the pre-owned items we sell, that we even back them up with a written warranty program.


All items which contain a serial number are registered in your name prior to shipping the item to you. If your item fails to function as designed within the first 30 days after receiving it, you may return it to us for service. You are responsible for paying the shipping back to us; then we in turn will pay for the shipping back to you after warranty service is completed.


Warranty service may include repairing the item or replacing it with a same or similar item at our discretion. If you have the item serviced by anyone else between the date of purchase and the date of return to us, this warranty is void.


All items which do NOT contain a serial number and / or which are not considered “life support” equipment are not covered under this warranty. Items not covered include Masks, Fins, Snorkels, Boots, Gloves, Hoods, most Wetsuits, knives, lights and other miscellaneous diving accessories


This warranty covers both parts and labor but does NOT cover misuse or abuse. If upon receipt of an item under this program, we find that the damage is due to either intentional or unintentional human behavior, the warranty will be considered void. Intentional behavior may include a


Non-Eastern Watersports approved technician servicing an item or replacing parts on an item, doing malicious harm to an item or attempting to send us back an item other than the one we sent to you. Unintentional behavior may include signs that an item was dropped, crushed, improperly stored or mishandled after leaving our facility.


Every item we ship is thoroughly Inspected and tested and is working when it leaves our facility. Inspection and testing does not mean the equipment was recently serviced. As clearly stated in our auctions, in many cases we do not know the last date of service. It is up to the end user of any life support equipment to have their equipment serviced per the Manufacturers recommendations prior to use. We can only represent that at the time of shipment, the item was functioning as designed. Life support equipment has parts that can become loose and or damaged during transport by shipping carriers. For this reason, all life support equipment which is shipped to you, be it new or pre-owned should be checked by a qualified end user and / or a qualified technician before use.
