The 12 noon (Pacific) start time will be marked by the sounds emanating from a superb Tiffany & Co. tall-case clock with Walter H. Durfee movement. The stately timepiece, which stands 99 inches tall, appears to be complete with pendulum, tubes and weights.
“A similar clock with the same type of movement sold in a 2007 auction in New Orleans for $92,500,” said auctioneer and company owner Don Presley.
