Excellent condition vintage mother and baby koi goldfish signed handcarved boxwood netsuke, in a curved button shape, found at an estate sale. The intricate finely carved netsuke measures only 1 inches long x 1 inches tall, and has the two fish curling around each other. Inlaid eyes in a contrasting color. Signed on the bottom, the hole goes all the way through. No damage at all. Unknown exact age and origin, as it was purchased at an estate sale.
