Up for your consideration is a very rare piece of music recording history. A Presto model 92-A Rack mount recording amplifier. Produced in the 1940's this Presto 92-A amplifier would have been used in the process of cutting records and recording. Very hard to even find a picture of one of these units. If your looking at this listing then you know what you are looking at I'm sure. This unit has been very well taken care of for a lot of years, you almost never see them in this type of good condition. It has been gone through and cosmetically cleaned up, Minimal surface rust, all of the tubes have been checked and are working and the pilot light comes on no problem and meter reads just fine. This is a very solid unit inside and out. Never really hooked it up to anything but I'm sure it sounds great. Just a really great piece that is ultra hard to get your hands on and this one I'm sure will not disappoint. This piece is tremendously heavy around 80-85 lbs I'm guessing so I will be making a custom crate for it to be shipped in so you and I will be assured that it wouldn't get damaged in shipping! Or if you prefer to do a local pickup that is fine also. This is a once in a blue moon find and you have to find them before you can buy them so this could be your chance.
