Blue Cap Tourmalines are among the most desireable in the world, and this one is quite exceptional. It is large and fat, and the blue layer is quite thick at about 2.1cm. The condition is very good with only one small contact point of any significance on the back-left edge under the rim. The top is very flat with a matte finish. This is the best blue cap tourmaline from Afghanistan that we have seen in a very long time, and is probably the best one on the market today.
This specimen comes with a custom acrylic display base.
