This is probably the very first SLK brochure ever given out in the US market.  The model R170 was sold in the US market from 1998 (with early 1997 introduction) to 2004. 

 

It shows the SLK in two different ‘Design Studies’, before they actually went into production.   This brochure was only given out in limited quantities and is pretty hard to find.   The SLK had a very unique design with a very different removable hardtop. 

 

 

Dimensions:                        approx. 8” by 10”, 8 foldout pages

 

Condition:                            There are some scratches on the covers
