I have had this incredible lens for almost 2 years, having bought it in May 2015 from the London Camera Exchange shop in Guildford for £699.99

It was pretty well perfect when I bought it and it it is exactly the same now. Made of metal, tough as old boots, it is easy to see why it is a real favourite with sports photographers and paparazzi.

I have been using this lens mostly for sports photography and it is just amazing how it pulls in detail and really makes the subject 'Pop' out of the background even at some distance. I have included a couple of shots takem with this lens, one from the Battle of Britain memorial flight at Goodwood showing a jeep with Spitfires in the background, the jeep was maybe 150 meters away from where I was standing, so you can see the differential focus in that shot quite well. Similarly the detail in the shot of the rescue boat, taken hand held on a really dull over cast day is something else.

As you can see in the photos of the lens, there are only the most minor signs of normal careful use on the body of the lens and the lens hood. 

Front and real Canon lens caps are included as is a 72mm Kood UV filter which has been on the lens since the day I bought it.

The optics are perfect and the lens is 100% fully functional.
