Any dust particles that are seen on my photos are usually from in the machine and not on the slide itself, unless I specify that the slide is dirty. I inspect them with a loop if I see spots and I clean my slides before taking a picture of it. 

International shipping will be in a regular envelope. If you wish to have some cardboard protection then the cost is $13.50 for up to an 8 ounce package to most countries.
