Vintage 16MM movie camera. Made by Q.R.S. Company, Chicago, it dates from around 1928. The plate also says, PATENT APPLIED FOR. This is a very heavy camera, (about 7 lbs. ). The camera has a viewfinder, and adjustable shutter opening. Unfortunetly, there is little i know about this co. other than they merged with DeVries in 1929, and later cameras have the Q.R.S./DeVries nameplate. Camera has Serial # B-59761.
