My Tokina AT-X 100-300mm F4 lens seems becoming heavier to me, since plastic lenses are now available, albeit not as rugged.   I'd like to switch to something lighter.  The lens operates nicely, and smoothly. See sample pictures taken with this lens.  Shipping cost to within N. American is US$50.  Lens comes with front cap, rear cap, and hood only.  This is a heavy lens.  ( I ship to Canada, and I live in Canada.. The information given by the Ebay listing template regarding shipping was inaccurate.)
