In the lande of the Rio Grande, an ALCO DL-535E Narrow gauge Diesel Locomotive would have been the perfect progression to modern day railroad operations. The ALCO DL-535E is most well known for operation by the White Pass and Yukon RR in Alaska. This ALCO DL-535E has been custom built and painted for N Scale Narrow Gauge operation, Nn3 - N Scale locomotives running on Z gauge track.  The chassis is a Marklin six wheel truck locomotive, z gauge, with the newest Black Jacket 5-pole motor.  A Digitrax DZ-125 DCC decoder has been fitted for DCC operation.  Please review the video of it operating on a DCC track. Body Mounted Micro-Trains Magne-Matic couplers have been fitted for reliable operation.  LED directional lights have also been fitted and the ALCO DL-535E shell has been custom painted and weathered to represent a prototypical appearance.
