A super bone china plate, made in England by Spode to commemorate the 1971 St. Leger win at Doncaster by Athens Wood, jockeyed by Lester Piggott.

Complete with certificate of authenticity, this plate is number 238 of a limited edition of just 1000 and comes in it's own presentation box.

Plate diameter approx. 10 1/2".

CONDITION ~ The plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The box has some minimal wear and a little surface corrosion to the clasps. Please take a good look at the photographs, these form an important part of the description.
