A vintage movie from a number of films found in a probate sale of a gentleman who appears to have been a prodigious collector with an eye for interesting films.
Synopsis of the film:-
A 16mm movie produced by the National Film Board Of Canada, entitled, “Physical Regions Of Canada”.
We will be listing a large number of films on eBay from this collection, but buyers should be aware that it is not economically possible for us to sit and view every single film from start to finish (it would take several months to do so). Therefore, films may contain splices, breaks/snaps, may have scratches somewhere on the film, and there may be fading or loss of sound (where applicable) as well as other faults. Some repairs may be necessary using splicing tape etc.
We have probably only viewed the opening few minutes of each film in order to identify the subject matter, in addition to referring to any identifying stickers on cases / reels. We have NOT uploaded any of the films in this collection to YouTube, or taken any copies, so most of the collection will be unique.
Any 'screen shots' shown on our sales are taken from either a desktop viewer, or have been projected onto a wall, and will not be representative of the best quality obtainable.
For the same reason, we may not be able to identify films which films have sound (as the desk viewer does not have a sound pickup), but we will do our best to identify sound films and identify whether they are magnetic or optical. If we are unsure about sound, we will identify the sound field (below) as 'not known'.
Where, below, we have indicated a film length, this is an estimate based on the diameter of the wound film on the spool: it is an estimate only. We have no way to check at how many frames per second films have been shot.
