This is a marvelous and rare antique American figural napkin ring c1880 which has a cat with glass eyes standing with the ring forming its body. fabulous design. Great detail. Rare. See photos. 

this ring is not normally marked.  

This figural napkin ring is shown in the book by Gottschalk and Whitson's book "Figural napkin Rings: Collectors Identification and Value Guild", on page 13 in plate 12. Their ring is not marked as to maker or number.  They say is was possibly made by Wilcox Silver Plate Co.  They valued it at $200-$350 in 1996, 

This figural napkin ring is in good to Very good condition, closer to the later.  I have not polished it;   The silverplate is in good condition. See photos.
