Genie Universal Garage Door Radio Receiver Conversion Kit - Intellicode 315390R2

I purchased this item because the range of my existing garage door opener was very poor.  I had to be within 30 feet from the front of my door before the remote was recognized by the opener.  With this unit, I could be on the street in front of my home and the garage door opener would work.  Long-story-short, the gear on that opener broke and I replaced it with a new one which works just fine without this kit.  The conversion kit is relatively easy to install and work just fine.  It can be connected to any brand garage door opener.  It comes with power transformer, power cord, full original instructions as well as one small Genie dual button garage door remote.
