The 701K-G/6A Tone and Probe kit offers superior tracing for low voltage applications such as telephone, data and security alarm wiring. Essential equipment for the internal wiring technician. The 701K-G/6A provides the ability to check voltage on wire pairs as well as generate a tagging tone along the wire which is then picked up by the tracing probe. It features include overall improved internal circuitry in both the amplifier and the tone generator, an LED headlight, a headset jack, short circuit beeper and external warble-select. The 701K-G/6A Tone and Probe Kit promises to provide an enhanced customer experience for tracing and identifying single conductors or cables within bundles, either at midpoint or at remote ends. Included in the 701K-G/6A kit is the 77HP-G/6A high power tone generator with short circuit checker and ABN clips. The 200EP-G Tone Tracing Probe, an RJ11/45 coupler, alternate flat plastic and round metallic probe tips and a durable nylon case. The 701K-G/6A Professional Tone and Probe Tracing Kit is assembled in the USA and is CE certified. The 200EP-G tracing probe features an LED headlight for working safely behind furniture, inside racks or in dim lighting conditions. Tracing probe has three listening modes with adjustable volume control - speaker, headset or butt-in telephone connection. The 77HP-G/6A tracing tone generator indicates one-or two-line telephone service, voltage/polarity indication and checks for short circuits/continuity with a light and an audible beep.
