Up for sale is my DC Customs Guitar.  This guitar was custom built for me by my good friend Dean Cascione.  He builds first class guitars.  For any fan of Yngwie Malmsteen or scalloped necks this guitar is for you.  The guitar is used and was built in 2008.  I've upgraded a few things on this guitar since getting it.  Here are a list of specs...

1 piece alder body
Birdseye maple neck with rosewood finger board
Fully scalloped neck (Yngwie style scallops)
21 frets with abalone inlays
Fishman Fluence Pickups
Graphtech String Saver Saddles
Graphtech Graphite Nut

Overall the guitar is in good shape with lots of playing life left in it.  There are a few things that you can see in the pictures...
1)  Through the years the guitar finish has aged and cracked.  Cracks are surface only.  Not very noticeable but can see them up close with the right light on them.
2)  When I was soldering some solder dripped on the guitar close to the input jack plate and burned the finish a bit.  Kind of looks cool if you ask me.  HAHA!!!
3)  I had my signature decal on the top of the headstock, but decided to sand it off and add a touch of tung oil to it to match the colour up.  Is noticeable when you get the right light on it.

As for the upgrades.... I swapped out the saddles to the Graphtech string saver saddles.  IMO... much more comfortable saddles for anyone who rests the side of their picking hand on the bridge like myself.  I also changed to a Fishman Fluence pickguard assembly.  They are active, so I installed the battery in the back cavity.  I just use double sided tape to hold the battery in place.  When installing the new pickguard assembly I had to file down the electronic cavity a bit to get it to fit.  The guitar will come with the trem bar and the hard shell case seen in the pictures.

For anyone that doesn't know about DC Custom Guitars feel free to check their website.  I paid $3000 US for this guitar back in 2008, so here's your chance to get a great instrument at a great price.  I've played US and Japanese Yngwie Strats in the past and this was definitely my favourite scalloped guitar.  Getting away from scalloped necks now.  Just don't play them as much now and not very comfortable on them anymore now.  A new chapter in my guitar playing journey.  :)

This auction is for Canadian and US bidders only.  Do not bid if you live outside Canada or the US.  Thanks.  Good luck and happy bidding.  Feel free to message me when any questions.  US bidders are responsible for all customs/duty fees.  CHEERS and SHRED ON!!!

One last thing...  shipping costs by eBay do not include a signature or insurance.  I will not ship without insurance on the package in case something happens.  If you win the guitar please message me before payment to get a quote on insurance.  To give you guys an idea you are looking at another $35+ Canadian on top of shipping for the shipping insurance.  Thanks.
