Pressed Glass Rum Pot

I found a very good description once for what this Rum Pot is exactly and who made it - but now I can't find it. Lord help me if I dare copy a shred of research from the person who wrote up the amethyst colored example ~ although theirs is (I'm sure) much finer and certainly different than this one.

I'm not going to try and track down any more specifics on this because you EAPG and glass connoisseurs know what you're looking at and will likely know who manufactured this and when. I bow to your better judgment : ) This was acquired in a group lot of antiques at auction. I can only tell you that it's pressed glass and / or mold blown judging from the look of the bottom base which does show a little evidence of scraping from years on this earth.

There is no lid on this...it is part of the whole. The only opening is the spout.

 Measures 5.75" tall x 6" wide x 4.75" deep.
Excellent Overall Condition. No Chips or Cracks. Clear & Clean. Light Wear to Base.
