I bought this mic for video production work, but I no longer do this, so am selling it on. The idea of this mic is to be lightweight but robust, with a sonic character that suits speech, that is, a boost in the upper frequencies where speech intelligibility lies, and a low cut to cut out rumble and handling noise.

It does it's job very well and is in perfect working order. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone for video work, and it would work equally well as a podium mic for lecturing, or a church, or in a podcast studio setup. I have even used it successfully on guitar
